well-established roofing company as a strategic advisor, with the
potential to take on a more substantial role as a partner or
CEO.About the Company:We are a roofing company with a strong
history of success. Although we are facing some challenges and are
no longer operating at the peak of our performance, we are
confident in the company's ability to return to profitability with
the right leadership and strategy. We have a dedicated team in
place, but we need an experienced hand to help guide the company
through the process of restructuring, scaling, and eventually
exiting.The Role:As a strategic advisor, you will play a critical
role in re-establishing the company's profitability and setting a
clear path for growth. You will work closely with the ownership
team and other key stakeholders to:
- Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for turning the business
around and scaling it to new heights.
- Build and execute a roadmap for operational improvements, sales
growth, and financial management.
- Establish key performance metrics and hold the entire team
accountable for achieving them.
- Provide expert guidance on structuring an exit strategy,
whether through sale, merger, or other options.
- Take a hands-on approach to help lead the company, ensuring the
successful implementation of the strategic vision.Key
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assess the current state of the business,
identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
- Develop and implement a detailed, actionable strategic plan
with clear milestones for growth, profitability, and potential
exit.
- Lead and mentor the management team, fostering a culture of
accountability and high performance.
- Guide the company through operational and financial
restructuring as necessary.
- Provide ongoing strategic advice on key business decisions,
including finance, marketing, operations, and sales.
- Define and execute a clear exit strategy that maximizes value
for stakeholders.About You:The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a CEO, strategic advisor, or partner in
successfully turning around struggling businesses, with a track
record of scaling companies and achieving profitable exits.
- Strong expertise in strategic planning, financial management,
operations, and team leadership.
- Experience in the construction or roofing industry is a plus,
but not required.
- A hands-on, results-driven approach with the ability to drive
performance across all departments.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the
ability to influence, mentor, and hold teams accountable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on long-term value
