the United States.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Sr. Manager, Business
Development - Wearables is responsible for supporting efforts in
managing and maintaining strategic partnerships. The ideal
candidate will have a proven track record of successfully
negotiating contracts, managing fast-paced partnerships and
implementing business strategies that support high-growth
products.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partnership Contract Negotiations: Manage internal and external
stakeholders through contract negotiation efforts for in-market and
new product launches.
- Legal and Financial Integration: Collaborate with legal teams
to draft, interpret, and clarify contractual language as needed.
Work with finance to ensure partnership forecasts and financial
obligations are executed accurately and on time.
- Deliverable Coordination: Work with
Operations/Marketing/Product teams to ensure all contractual
commitments are fully understood, documented and implemented across
relevant teams.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the execution of
contractual terms, such as delays, resource constraints, or
misalignments, and develop mitigation strategies. Escalate critical
issues to leadership as needed.
- Compliance Oversight: Continuously monitor compliance with
contract terms, including timelines, deliverables, intellectual
property rights, confidentiality clauses, and performance metrics.
Address any deviations swiftly and effectively.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain a comprehensive repository
of all contractual documents, amendments, and communications.
Provide regular reports to leadership on the status of contract
execution, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and upcoming
milestones.
- Process Optimization: Establish and continuously refine
processes to streamline contract execution, ensuring clarity,
accountability, and efficiency across all involved parties.
- Change Management: Manage amendments or updates to contracts as
the partnership evolves, ensuring changes are documented and
communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary interface for
partners' legal and business teams regarding contract-related
inquiries. Facilitate regular check-ins to address questions,
updates, or concerns related to contract implementation.BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a
related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, with
a focus on strategic partnerships and alliance management.
- Demonstrated success in managing and building long-term
relationships with partners and clients
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal
skills
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activity, and
internal performance to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, business analytics tools, and
Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in tech industry is a plusPay Range: 146,339.42
