Job Description:
Ensuring Volt's Success--- Our client is a design and
manufacturing company creating application-specific, highly
engineered turboexpanders that are used in hydrocarbon processing,
geothermal power generation, and other power-recovery or
refrigeration applications in industrial processes worldwide.
Expert field service, repair, and spare parts are available for all
types of turboexpanders.

The company's operation is vertically integrated with broad
engineering expertise and analytical competency, multi-axial CNC
machining capability, mechanical assembly, PLC and electrical
assembly, complete metal fabrication, and testing facilities that
include resonance, balancing, pressure, performance, and mechanical
run test.
Position Summary: Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications,
using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and
benders. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related
equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing,
cementing, soldering, and threading joints. Attach pipes to walls,
structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding
equipment. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipe
lines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or
other methods. Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
Evaluate, design and implement proper assembly for Turboexpander
Machines
What Will You Do?Evaluate P & ID Drawings and design pipelines &
tubing lines on machines
Determine materials needed to complete assembly
Cut and assemble piping using valves and tube fittings
Bend & fabricate tubing lines for instruments and lubrication
consoles
Install instruments which include differential gages, switches, and
transmitters
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require--- This position is
subject to a manufacturing environment, conditions, noise, oils, as
well as being subjected to hazards such as, but not limited to,
moving parts and vehicles, heat, and chemicals. While performing
the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk
and hear, stand, and walk. On occasion, the employee may bend,
kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb a ladder. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Your Experience Should Be...5 + years of experience in Pipe Fitting
within a manufacturing environment
Able to read P & ID drawings
Understanding of basic welding
Mechanical knowledge in plumbing
Certified ASME Welder (a plus)
Refinery, high pressure oil and gas piping experience a plus
