Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coder III.
Key Responsibilities

Review medical records to identify principal and secondary diagnoses and procedures
Assign codes based on coding guidelines and ensure accurate documentation
Provide education and support to physicians regarding coding practices

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health information coding
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
One of the following coding certifications is required: CPC, CRC, or RHIT
Expertise in encoder software and EMR systems
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and disease processes
