Shift: Weekends (3 12's Fri-Sun 6a-6:30p)Avionics Technician

and done well.As an Avionics Technician II, you will be responsible
for avionics systems modifications. You will also be responsible
for the maintenance functions of assigned tasks to customer
specifications, FAA standards, and Repair Station Manual.What
you'll do:
- Adjust, repair or replace malfunctioning components or
assemblies using hand tools and or soldering irons.
- Assemble components such as switches electrical controls, and
junction boxes using hand tools and soldering irons.
- Connect components to assemblies such as radio systems,
instruments, inverters, using hand tools and soldering irons.
- Install electrical and electronic components, assembles and
systems in aircraft.
- Interpret flight test data in order to diagnose malfunctions
and systemic performance problems.
- Lay out installation of aircraft assembling and systems,
following documentation; blueprints, manuals, wiring diagrams.
- Test and troubleshoot instruments, components and assembling
using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, voltmeters.
- Assemble prototypes or models of circuits, instruments and
systems to be used for testing.
- Maintain records of maintenance and repair work.
- Set up and operate ground support and test equipment to perform
functional flight tests of electrical and electronic
systems.Position Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED required
- Gulfstream aircraft avionics or corporate jet avionics
experience
- Experience with avionics electrical and mechanical design
tools
- Experience documenting electro-mechanical assemblies
- Excellent troubleshooting abilities
- Organized & detailed oriented: able to manage and complete
multiple projects simultaneously
- Efficient and effective at producing required results in a
short amount of time
- Excellent communication both written and orally (consistent,
efficient, and effective)
- Follow directions yet applies judgment and can be flexible
- Team member yet knows when to work independently
- Independent with the ability to effectively work
