Job Description:
A company is looking for a PreBill Specialist I who will work
remotely under the supervision of the Billing Manager to provide
pre-billing and coding services.
Key Responsibilities
Verify prebill information, patient demographics, payor
information, and transport modifiers before coding
Utilize systems to locate insurance and patient demographic
information and move claims through workflows as needed
Consistently achieve or exceed daily production metrics and quality
goals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Certification in Medical Billing and Coding preferred but not
required
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
1+ years of experience as a Medical Biller or similar role
preferred
Working knowledge of health insurance verification and major payor
groups preferred
