Job Description:
A company is looking for a Freelance Vietnamese On-Demand
Interpreter.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking
patients and healthcare providers
Adheres to the National Standards of Practice and the National Code
of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years interpreting experience, preferably in
OPI/VRI
National or State Interpreter Certification (e.g., CHI, CMI, NIC,
CI/CT, VQAS)
Knowledgeable command of Medical, Educational, and social services
terminology in both languages
40 hours or more of interpreter training
Demonstrated fluency in English and the target language with
fluency test results
