for our customers.Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled and
experienced Culinary Manager to join our team. As a key member of
our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the
culinary operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our dishes are
consistently high-quality and meet our customers'
expectations.Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Work with our management team to develop
diversified menus that align with our restaurant's policy and
vision.
- Recipe Execution: Finalize dishes and ensure that they are
executed consistently and to a high standard.
- Staff Management: Establish the working schedule and organize
our kitchen staff to ensure that we are operating efficiently and
effectively.
- Labor Costs: Understand and maintain labor costs to ensure that
we are operating within our budget.
- Inventory Management: Manage our inventory, order and par
sheets, and various kitchen needs to ensure that we have the
necessary ingredients and supplies to meet our customers'
demands.
- Quality Control: Produce high-quality, consistent dishes that
follow our established menu and meet our customers'
requirements.
- Ingredient Sourcing: Source ingredients to maintain the
integrity of our menu.Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
experience.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
with all team members.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to understand and resolve problems in
a clear and conscious manner.
- Training: Ability to train subordinate cooks and the kitchen
staff.
- Inventory Knowledge: Knowledge of inventory management and
control.
- Systems-Oriented: Experience in recognizing the need for and
creation of systems.
- Technical Skills: Ability to utilize provided tech and software
for management and reporting.
- Certification: Valid ServSafe Manager Certification.
- Employee Retention: Proven track record of employee retention
and training.
- Reliability: Means to get to work on time.
- Language: Ability to speak Spanish is helpful.About Divine
