A company is looking for a Senior Product Manager for Apache
Kafka and Clients.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a strategic vision for innovation in Apache
Kafka, focusing on user-friendly Kafka Clients
Collaborate with engineering and stakeholders to define and execute
the product roadmap for Apache Kafka features and clients
Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure product
improvements align with requirements
Required Qualifications
Proven technical background with contributions to open-source
projects
5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on
open-source, streaming, and SaaS domains
Experience in defining product specifications and leading feature
delivery from ideation to launch
Strong passion for open-source community engagement and achieving
business outcomes
Understanding of Apache Kafka and programming experience in
languages such as Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript is desirable
