We seeking a direct hire experienced Director Environmental Remediation for (Superfund, CERCLA, RCRA) for a Billion Dollar Defense Leader

In Sacramento California.



This is onsite position and relocation is available



Work on exciting engineering projects



Relocation Assistance is available





Seeking Environmental Remediation Director with a strong background in managing complex remediation projects and engaging with federal and state regulatory agencies.



The successful candidate will have over 15 years of experience in the field and will be responsible for leading a team of senior and junior scientists and engineers.





Up to 30% travel Manage consultants located throughout the United States.

Manage corporate environmental remediation reserves and develop annual project budget spend requirements



Qualifications:



Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.



Preferred Additional Skills:



Degree in related environmental and/or engineering discipline

Previously served as Remediation Director in a complex organization and or Senior Remediation Manager on a promotion track.

Proven track record of managing complex environmental projects.

Experience in engaging with federal and state regulatory agencies, in California and other jurisdictions.



Familiarity with environmental sustainability reporting and compliance obligations.



Experience with Large Public Corporation Environmental Remediation

Experience with Soil/Ground Water Environment cleanup

Experience with Superfund (CERCLA) Compliance
