(Job Overview):The Manager for Business Operations and Planning for
Long-Term Recovery Wildfire Programs is a critical role embedded
within the Wildfire Long-Term Recovery (LTR) team of the LTR
Branchat American Red Cross-National Headquarters. The LTR Branch,
in addition to supporting disaster operations service delivery
activities, engages in program design and implementation, partner
and community-level capacity building, system and process
enhancements and workforce management.The Wildfire Long-Term
Recovery programs have been running consecutively in the West since
2017. Current programs include two active recoveries on Maui and in
Los Angeles. The Manager for Business Operations and Planning for
Long-Term Recovery Wildfire Programs is a key role in supporting
the effectiveness and internal coordination of the team. This role
works in close coordination with the Director, team members and
internal stakeholders to support administration, track program
progress, foster collaboration, identify obstacles and solutions,
and achieve LTR strategic objectives within defined timeframes.
This role will also provide support, development and/or leadership
guidance to Long-Term Recovery volunteers.This is a term-limited,
benefits eligible position expected to last 12 months from date of
hire with the opportunity to extend based on business need. This is
a remote position. This is a remote position, and candidates

(Key Responsibilities): * Project Management:Facilitate effective
communication, organization, planning, and implementation of
Wildfire LTR and NHQ LTR Branch projects.* Data Collection and
Analysis:Analyze data to support decision-making and identify
opportunities for improved program design and implementation.*
Strategic Support:Contribute to the development and implementation
of strategic plans.* Process Improvement:Support Director in
identifying opportunities to streamline and improve operational
processes and assist in implementing changes.* Team Coordination
and Support:Provide administrative support for the Wildfire LTR
team including meeting management, development of internal and
external communication material, leadership briefing preparation
and team wellness. Standard Schedule: Monday- Friday Standard
business hours.The salary range for this position is
$85,360-$93,120. Note that the American Red Cross sets salary
ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work
is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an
average. The specific salary information will be shared at the time
of phone screening based upon your location and qualifications.This
job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended
if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
(Minimum Qualifications):Education: Bachelor's degree
required.Experience: Minimum 5 years of related experience or
equivalent combination of education and related experience
required.Management Experience: N/ASkills and Abilities:* Ability
to thrive in a matrixed environment* Proven experience in project
coordination, team support, or a similar role.* Strong
organizational and time management skills.* Excellent verbal and
written communication skills.* Ability to multitask and prioritize
effectively in a dynamic environment.* Proficient in project
management software and collaboration tools.* Detail-oriented with
strong problem-solving abilities.* Ability to work both
independently and collaboratively.* Strong interpersonal skills and
ability to work with diverse teams.* Knowledge of project
management methodologies and best practices.Travel: Travel will be
required, 25%-50% at times. Site visits and partner engagement
activities will be regularly occurring. Must have a Valid Driver
LicenseDeployment Requirement: Disaster employees are required to
deploy to disaster relief operations outside of their region at a
minimum of once a year. Deployments contribute to skill building,
career development and exposure to different types of disasters.
Employees must meet all training and physical capacity requirements
for deployment.*Combination of candidate's education and general
experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate
to description's minimum education and general experience years
combined (Management experience cannot be

this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business
office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic). The
employee must have the ability to work in a small cubicle and have
the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of
