Job Title: Operations Manager

Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Location: Onsite in Lakewood, CA

Position Overview

Our organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a proven background in commercial plumbing service and repair. This full-time, exempt role is based onsite in Long Beach, CA, and is critical to ensuring smooth operational efficiency and exceptional client service. The successful candidate will manage work orders, serve as the primary client liaison, and support the Director of Operations in maintaining high standards of operational excellence.



Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Work Order Management: Process and prioritize incoming work orders to facilitate timely and efficient field operations.
  
• Field Communication: Clearly and effectively relay work order details and updates to field supervisors and technicians.
  
• Client Relations: Act as the initial point of contact for client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring professional and courteous interactions.
  
• Customer Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve customer complaints by coordinating with appropriate internal teams.
  
• Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Director of Operations, including the review of documents for compliance with building codes and standards.
  
• Estimate Coordination: Assist in preparing estimates and proposals, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.

  • Industry Experience: Must have substantial experience in a commercial plumbing environment, specifically within the service and repair sector.
    
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional demeanor.
    
  • Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of calls and effectively resolve customer issues.
    
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail.
    
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional experience or training in plumbing or construction is highly desirable
