Job Description:
The Director, Major Gifts manages a portfolio of major gift
prospects and donors and is charged with identifying, cultivating,
soliciting, and stewarding prospects and donors. The Director,
Major Gifts is a high-performing fundraiser who will work closely
with the VP, Advancement, and staff across the Advancement team to
create exciting, donor-focused gift proposals that support the
museum's film and education programming, exhibitions, accessibility
initiatives, and capital needs.This role will also help develop
strategies for fundraising programs and events at the museum as
well as Academy-wide, including the Academy100 campaign. The role
supervises two members of the individual giving team and, in
coordination with the Vice President, Advancement, is responsible
for monitoring and supporting work with their respective
portfolios.
