Assistant ControllerLocation: Sherman Oaks, CA - Hybrid Work ScheduleSalary: 175k-215+

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to oversee our accounting operations and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, managing financial statements, and supporting the organizations strategic goals through effective financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Oversee the accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data to senior management.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance internal controls.
• Assist in asset purchases and acquisitions, ensuring proper valuation and integration into the financial framework.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to aid decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process.Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
  • Experience with asset purchases and acquisitions.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and financial software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
  • Ability to lead a finance team and collaborate across departments.Benefits
