The Director of Regional Channel Sales is a strategic and
results-oriented leader responsible for driving sales growth
through regional channel partners in the U.S. Business Channel.
This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with
regional distributors, resellers, and other channel partners to
achieve revenue targets. Reporting to the Vice President of B2B
Sales, the Director will oversee the execution of sales strategies
within assigned regions, ensuring alignment with overall company
goals and channel strategies.Key Responsibilities:Regional Sales
Leadership:
- Lead the execution of the U.S. regional channel sales strategy,
focusing on achieving growth and revenue objectives.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with regional channel
partners, including distributors and resellers, to expand market
reach.
- Set clear performance expectations for the regional sales team
and partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for growth within
assigned regions.Channel Partner Management:
- Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint business
plans, sales initiatives, and marketing campaigns.
- Provide training and support to channel partners to enhance
their sales capabilities and product knowledge.
- Monitor partner performance and implement strategies to
maximize their effectiveness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for regional partners,
addressing escalations and fostering strong, mutually beneficial
relationships.Strategic Planning:
- Analyze regional market trends and competitor activities to
refine sales strategies.
- Contribute to the development of regional channel roadmaps to
align with company objectives.
- Provide regular updates and insights to the VP of B2B Sales
regarding regional sales performance and opportunities.Team
Leadership and Development:
- Manage and monitor the sales performance objectives of the
field sales team, ensuring alignment with regional and company-wide
goals.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and support to help the team
achieve their targets and develop their skills.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture that
emphasizes accountability, innovation, and results.
- Implement training programs and professional development
initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the regional and field
sales teams.Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing,
product development, and operations, to deliver a seamless channel
partner experience.
- Provide feedback from the regional channel to inform product
and service enhancements.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop accurate regional
sales forecasts and budgets.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field;
advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in channel sales leadership roles, with
a focus on regional partners.
- Proven success managing relationships with distributors,
resellers, and other channel partners.
- Strong understanding of the U.S. Business Channel and its
dynamics.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and
relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed
sales targets.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing sales
teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and
