If you are looking for a fulfilling experience, you owe it to yourself to learn how Silvus can be the next chapter of your career.THE OPPORTUNITYSilvus Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer - UxV to work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to provide customers with tailored solutions. This role will participate in technical sales, demonstrations, and support of Silvus' advanced multi-antenna MIMO radio and mesh networking solutions, influencing product development.This position is eligible for 100% remote work, depending on location. This opportunity is well suited for an entrepreneurial technologist who enjoys customer interaction, has a healthy sense of adventure, and is willing to travel.The following is a list of essential job functions. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time at its discretion.ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning, customer training, and system optimization.
  • Become an expert on the operation and application of Silvus' unique radio and networking solutions.
  • Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
  • Visit customer sites to provide technical support and deliver training.
  • Troubleshoot failures and abnormal situations in the field.
  • Collect and analyze field failures and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Help Design Engineers reproduce and troubleshoot problems.
  • Participate in resource allocation and hardware maintenance to support sales and business development activities.
  • Travel requirements: 50% - frequent travel for meetings, events, and demonstrations.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical fields with at least 2 years of experience in a pre- and post-sales technical support position; OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience.
    • Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
    • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • CLEARANCE -Must have clearance at SECRET level; OR the ability to obtain a SECRET US Government security clearance within 12 months of start date.NOTE - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
      • Familiarity with Linux.
      • Proficiency with TCP/IP protocol and networking.
      • Experience with operating and testing IP radios/modems.
      • Knowledge of wireless communication systems and RF signal propagation.
      • Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++.
      • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
      • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.COMPENSATIONThe pay range is based on market research and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.CA Pay Range: $70,000 - $100,000 USDNOTE - As a U.S. Federal Contractor, Silvus Technologies requires that ALL candidates being considered for employment MUST be a U.S. Person (permanent resident or citizen).
