Ocean/Air Export Coordinator
This position is from Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Position requires the employee to provide excellent customer service, book ocean and air shipments, handle documentation, coordinating trucking, and documents with shippers and forwarding agents and AES/EEI Filing. The candidate will be managing accounts, answering the walk in customers and truckers and handling all paperwork for inbound truckers and customers who are delivering cargo. We prefer candidates with experience in warehousing and handling Ocean and/or Air Export coordination at a Freight Forwarding company.

Duties will include:

• Coordinate and accept deliveries for customers and upload receiving reports and pictures to online databases including google docs and our Forwarding TMS.
  
• Create export container bookings with airlines and steamship lines, ordering containers, coordinating loading when container arrives with warehouse, validating auto titles, create master BL instructions for the line, create house bills of lading and release containers when instructed to do so, arranging LTL pickups and airport transfers.
  
• Coordination of deliveries to warehouse
  
• Maintain communication and information among Shippers, Customers, Forwarding Agents and Venders to ensure customers' needs were being met (this includes providing tracking of cargo arriving to our warehouse and tracking container for customers).
  
• Handling A-Z for Air Freight, FCL Buyer s Consoles and all Documentation involved including issuing MAWB/HAWB/MBL/HBL/Manifests to agents overseas -- Handling files from booking to final delivery of cargo
  
• Backup support for Air Freight Export shipments, which includes quotes, bookings with airlines, coordination of trucking, documentation and billing.Requirements:
  
  • Proficient in entire ocean and/or air export process (we can train depending on the candidates past experience in supply chain/logistics)
    
  • Must be proficient in Computer skills: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and be able to type fast (50 wpm or faster) and learn our proprietary software quickly.
    
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
    
  • Experience in Auto Export procedures (i.e. title validation, filing AES)
    
  • Knowledge and interest in the transportation industry.Education/Skills:

    • 4 year degree preferred.Preferred Qualifications:
      
      • Familiarity with ocean and air freight regulations, customs requirements, and export controls
        
      • Knowledge of airline routes and schedules.
        
      • Fluency in English is required.
        
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
