Job Description:
A company is looking for a Group Underwriting Consultant
(I/II).
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite small to medium-size cases for new and renewal business,
including developing proposals and managing add-on business
Analyze data related to case risks to determine benefits and
rating, and communicate underwriting decisions to stakeholders
Make independent case-level decisions while adhering to
underwriting guidelines
Required Qualifications and Education
Group Underwriting Consultant I: 2+ years of relevant underwriting
experience or related field; high school diploma required,
Bachelor's degree preferred
Group Underwriting Consultant II: 3+ years of relevant underwriting
experience or related field; high school diploma required,
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong analytical skills with experience in financial and risk
analysis
Experience developing proposals and utilizing underwriting tools
and systems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
