Volt is immediately hiring for Maintenance Plating Operator in Valencia, CA

As a Maintenance Plating Operator you will:
Ensures the integrity of all processing tanks in plating line are maintained in the highest order.
Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on plating line and other electrical equipment.
Dismantles machines or equipment, replaces defective parts and motors.
Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction
Lift up to 35lbs.
Cleans and lubricates machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears, and bearings.
Replaces or repairs machine belts.
Work with production to prioritize repairs.
Performs advanced troubleshooting.Install, calibrate, trouble shoot, and program PLC for various equipment.
Dismantle and inspect production equipment as needed.Interface with vendors and contractors (equipment repairs, facilities, etc.)
Bends and cuts conduit and wire, and drills holes for electrical connections.
Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.
Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.
Paints machines or equipment to prevent corrosion.

This is a Full-Time 1st Shift Opportunity.
Pay Rate: $22-$25/hr
The ideal candidate will have:
The ability to read and write English.
Able to complete any task given related to facility maintenance demonstrating knowledge in plumbing and general carpentry
Repair and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Demonstrating the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
GED or High school diploma preferred but not required.
