At Arup, we use the latest design technologies and analytic methods to deliver projects which make a real impact. Sustainability, carbon reduction, and resilience are at the core of what we do. We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer who is looking to work on designs for a wide range of projects including healthcare, laboratories, data centers, commercial and rail.The Opportunity

• Participate in the design of a variety of medium to large-scale complex projects. Undertake electrical systems design, predominantly for building projects, including power systems and lighting systems.
• Gain experience working on diverse projects across all of our major business sectors including Healthcare, science and technology, laboratories, and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with exceptional multi-disciplinary teams using our experience at the local, regional, and global levels.
• Have opportunities for advancement in a rapidly growing office.
• Design and perform calculations for power system study, lighting systems and associated controls.
• Prepare and review drawings and specifications detailing the design.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and work in conjunction with project managers to help complete work you're doing. Write reports for internal and external purposes based on findings.
• Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understand trends and standard methodologies.
• Participate in local Professional Associations.The skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience designing electrical systems for buildings.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills are required for our constantly evolving environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working.
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels.
• Experience with Revit MEP.Preferred Skills
• Experience with design and analysis of renewable and distributed energy systems.

This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
