generations.Role SummaryRivian is looking for a Coordinator,
Engineering Fleet to help manage our Commercial fleet vehicles. The
ideal candidate has the ability to think quickly on their feet,
complete appropriate documentation with excellent attention to
detail, and improve processes. We are looking for someone who is
goal-oriented with a drive to hit deadlines and strong
organizational skills to effectively prioritize
tasks.Responsibilities
- Coordinate ordering, on-boarding/registration, shipment,
charging, preparation, service/repair/maintenance, annual
inspection, and retirement/disposal of vehicles throughout the
lifecycle of the North America Commercial Fleet.
- Coordinate post-service center vehicle moves with internal and
3rd party logistics providers in response to move requests and
repair/service requests to best position customer vehicles for last
mile of delivery in North America.
- Manage to the weekly and daily schedules of Rivian's internal
operating vehicles to ensure on-time arrival.
- Manage insurance, claims, and ticketing administration.
- Lead periodic physical inventory audits.
- Around the clock support of escalations to ensure customer
satisfaction and operations readiness.
- Responsible for submitting/receiving NA Commercial Fleet
vehicles to/from service and body shops, as
necessary.Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience in dispatching or vehicle coordination
experience preferred.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft
Office, and ability to effectively navigate internal business
platforms.
- Must have a valid driver's license in the state of residence
that you will be driving/operating a vehicle (or state that you are
commuting daily to/from) and possess an exceptional driving record.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support customers on
nights, weekends and/or holidays; Ability and willingness to travel
based on business needs to support other market launches and
operations.
- No drug or alcohol related driving incidents in the last 3
years; No more than 1 serious moving violation in the last 3 years;
No driving related suspensions or revocation of Driver License
within a 3-5 year period. Will be subject to continuous Motor
Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and constantly changing
environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on level of
importance and urgency.
- Ability to work autonomously and consistently with limited
direction.
- Willingness to work in various working conditions including
being in a full service retail center or unpredictable weather
conditions.
- Physical exertion may be required to perform occupational tasks
(sitting up to 2 or more hours at a time, standing for up to 8 or
more hours a day, walking, bending, kneeling, laying, twisting,
carrying, reaching, stretching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to
50 lbs).
- Frequent use of hands for purposes of grasping and using tools
correctly, entering data, writing communications, or calling
customers or internal partners.
- Strong understanding of written and spoken English.
- Ability to see, read and interpret documents such as
governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions or schematics.Pay DisclosureSalary Range/Hourly Rate
for California Based Applicants: $26.98-33.73/hr (actual
compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and
other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary: Rivian provides
