This Escrow Assistant Position Features:

We are currently seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant for our Palm Springs location.

The Escrow Assistant is responsible for working closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner. Must be able to manage heavy workload, including preparation of all closing documents, after satisfying all necessary requirements and obtaining necessary clearances and approvals to complete the transaction, coordinate set up and conduct closing of transaction

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

?Organizes escrow requirements by reviewing instructions.

?Maintains escrow account by maintaining records

?Prepares transaction documents by ordering title reports; completing forms and statements; gathering existing documents

?Supports closing transaction by setting appointments; assembling documents; checking documents for completeness and accuracy; answering questions

?Completes closing by recording and filing documents; distributing final closing statements and title

?Complies with regulatory requirements by adhering to requirements

?Prepares documents for closing

Job Requirements

?Bachelor?s Degree required or equivalent from four-year accredited university with two or more years related experience and/or training

?Individual should be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills?Must be able to follow escrow procedures and have awareness of regulations governing escrow process
