Job Title:Innovation Leadership Program (iLead) - Thousand Oaks,
CA or Irving, TX - AmeriHome OperationsLocation:CA - Westlake
VillageWhat you'll do:Start date between June 23, 2025 to July 7,
2025This eighteen-month rotational program is designed to develop
capabilities and foster innovation to scale the company to meet its
next phase of growth. The program participants will become the
trailblazers in their functions, working on projects to shape the
future of Western Alliance Bank. Participants will gain high-impact
experience, accelerate their careers as innovator leaders, build
their professional network and interact closely with senior
executives. The AmeriHome Operations department covers operations
and credit operations oversight for the correspondent and retail
production channels. This department is responsible for the
salability review of loans to be purchased (correspondent) or
originated (retail). Reviews are conducted in alignment with Fannie
Mae and Freddie Mac (or other investor) guidelines, with some
overlays from AmeriHome guidelines. The iLead participant will gain
a holistic, hands-on experience across several key areas of
AmeriHome Operations. The rotations will provide a well-rounded
foundation with mortgage loan documents, the process steps in the
loan review process, and the factors that are considered decision
to purchase or fund a loan for Correspondent or Retail operations.
The participant will learn how to identify and implement process
improvement initiatives like time studies, process review, and
cost-benefit analysis. In addition, the participant will have the
opportunity to develop the skills required to manage a production
team including employee oversight, production reporting, and
quality control.The Rotations for AmeriHome Operations are:Rotation
1: Correspondent Loan Review Production is responsible for
supporting the life cycle of a mortgage loan including loan
salability review, critical data, risk management. Vendor
management; onboarding, training, and collaboration. Production,
quality and capacity tracking and management. Collaborate with
project management and technology teams to implement new products,
revamp procedures, and expand current operating process. Apply
applicable theories and concepts to interpret data, provide
analysis and observations, and recommend related initiatives and
solutions. Create and present relevant information as needed to
executive leaders during monthly business review meetings.Rotation
2: Retail Loan Production understanding the retail loan origination
process from pre application to post closing. You will be analyzing
loan economics and the qualification of the borrower. Learn about
different types of loan products and what makes a loan
salable.Rotation 3: Correspondent and Retail Loan Credit Operations
learning the credit risk oversight component of correspondent and
retail operations. GSE and other regulatory requirements.
Correspondent Lending - Credit Operations is responsible for
assessing risk associated with mortgage loan eligibility and
performance prior to purchasing. They review loans to ensure it
meets AmeriHome and Investor standards by assessing the Credit,
Capacity, Collateral, Capital, and Characteristics of the
transaction. Retail Lending - Credit operations is responsible for
assessing loan risks associated with borrower's ability,
willingness to pay by making a credit decision. They review loans
to ensure it meets AmeriHome and Investor standards by assessing
the Credit, Capacity, Collateral, Capital, and Characteristics of
the transaction.What you'll need:
