The Sustainability Intern will support the CSR team with our annual CSR report publication, ESG data collection, sustainability project implementation, recycling program enhancements, as well as support with food donation coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Support annual CSR Report publication
  
• ESG data collection & streamlining reporting
  
• Support CA climate risk report compliance
  
• Support with ongoing sustainability capital projects
  
• Support enhancements of recycling program
  
• Research grant and incentive opportunities
  
• Support with donations
  
• Potential Projects:
  
  
  Enhance annual CSR Report
  
  
  
• Improve/optimize current ESG data collection
  
• Support climate risk report compliance for SB-261
  
• Do a mass balance of waste going to landfill at our bakeries
  
• Research grant and incentive opportunities at federal, state, and local level for sustainability projects
  
• Provide additional support for food donation coordination
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or other Related Field; preference for intern in Junior year
  
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
  
  
  Program Eligibility:
  
  

• 
  
• Must be able to work full-time for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks
  
• Must be able to work from the assigned location, Monday-Thursday with the flexibility to work remotely each Friday
  
• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening with satisfactory results
