  • Job Details
  • A hospital in California is looking for an experienced CT Tech for a travel contract in their Radiology department.
  • The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.
    • Job Requirements
    • Hold an active BLS certification.
    • Hold ARRT (CT) certification.
    • Hold CA CRT and Fluoro License.
    • One year CT experience is a MUST.
    • ER/hospital experience is a MUST.
    • Trauma center experience is a plus.

      • 5/5 Start Date ONLY
      • Weekend Requirements: Yes
      • Holiday Requirements: No
      • 3 days of Department specific orientation: Sun-Thurs, 1600-2430.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • They should be comfortable floating between X-ray and CT.
          • Additional Details
          • Common types of imaging/studies performed: CT - strokes, traumagrams, heads, chest/abd/pelvis.
          • Average # of scans/studies per day: Between x-ray and CT, about 100 exams/day.
          • Department Specific Equipment: Siemens 128 slice scanners, Carestream portables and DR room, OEC c-arms.
          • Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech: 3 team leads on during the day, 2 in the evenings and 1 at night.
          • Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? - no
          • Radiologist in-house: yes - 8am - 6 pm.
          • Do they have to start IV's? - no, we have nurses in the department.
