Investment Management (KAR) in Century City is seeking a highly
motivated, organized, committed individual with strong initiative
and excellent communication skills for the role of RFP
Specialist.This is a great opportunity to further your asset class
knowledge and learn about Kayne Anderson Rudnick's portfolios.The
overall purpose of this position is to prepare responses to
institutional and retail RFPs and due diligence questionnaires. The
RFP Specialist is responsible for supporting the Institutional,
Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth Management distribution channels by
responding to recurring and ad hoc due diligence requests with a
particular focus on firm and strategy level information. KAR's RFP
team serves as the hub through which information is compiled and
disseminated to both internal and external clients.The position
requires collaboration with multiple teams, thus we are looking for
an individual with high initiative that has demonstrated the
ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. The
candidate must be detail oriented, have excellent communication,
writing and organizational skills. The production process will
require adherence to strict deadlines and may at times require
overtime during peak periods. This position is an exempt status
position and is based onsite in Century City with a hybrid work
schedule of three days a week in the office.Job Duties:
- Write high volumes of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and client updates for
Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth Management
prospects/clients, focusing on larger and/or more complex RFPs and
consultant questionnaires that require additional research,
analysis, creativity, and judgment.
- Manage the review/draft process from kickoff to completion.
Works closely with subject matter experts on the collection and
verification of all RFP content and ensure the content is both
accurate and compliant while managing deadlines.
- Support both the Institutional, Sub-Advisory Wrap, and Wealth
Management distribution teams as needed by responding to ad-hoc
requests related to RFP responses.
- Develop a full working knowledge of the firm's structure,
investment strategies, key personnel and organizational policies
and procedures in addition to a functional knowledge of a
professional services environment.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy within the RFP response
database.
- Assists in affiliate RFP teams requests as needed.
- Assists in key projects to increase team efficiencies.Ideal
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in a related discipline such as
business, finance, economics, or marketing.
- At least 3 years investment management industry
experience.
- Experience updating consultant databases such as eVestment,
Callan and Informa/PSN.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial products and asset classes.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage competing
obligations.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take direction and work
independently.
- Ability to effectively manage new projects, existing
maintenance, shifting priorities, and multiple tasks under tight
deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel desired and additional quantitative skills
preferred but not required.The salary range is $87,500 to
$111,500.The starting salary offer will vary based on the
applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic
location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This
position is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive
