Job Category: Sales - Comparion Pay Philosophy The typical starting
salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors
including skills, experience, education, certifications and
location. The full salary range for this role reflects the
competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions
across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress
as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at
Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may
include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based
on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the
role. Description Comparion Insurance Agency was created to
transition former Liberty Mutual exclusive agents to an agency that
delivers a unique value proposition to carriers with over 2,000
agents in approximately 180 cities in 44 states. With over 200
years of cumulative insurance experience, our sales leadership is
located throughout the country in our larger storefronts so we can
stay close to our customers and agents. Comparion Partnerships
Strategy & Development is focused on landing partners who deliver
high-quality top of the funnel leads to agents across the country.
Reporting to the leader of the National Partnerships Strategy &
Development team within Comparion, your primary responsibilities
will include vertical and market assessments, building and managing
a robust pipeline of potential partners, engaging key stakeholders
across the business unit to ensure strategic alignment, opportunity
sizing and prioritization of key prospects to source new
distribution partnerships. Additional responsibilities include
negotiating contract terms and deal economics to achieve highest
ROI and effectively leading on-going client management for partners
in a defined segment. In the role you will be required to develop
market research, assess industry data and trends, leverage industry
events, contacts and referrals to develop new partnership
opportunities, as well as grow existing partnerships. You will
interact with senior leadership of national firms and complex
organizations with a variety of business models across various
industries. Responsibilities: Develop new, innovative and
disruptive partnerships at Comparion Insurance Agency. Develop and
execute a strategic go-to-market approach in aligned verticals. Set
the partnership vertical vision and strategy. Cultivate a sales
pipeline through traditional and inventive B2B prospecting
activities. Create and effectively present partnership pitch
materials for C-suite leaders and decision-makers. Demonstrate deep
understanding of competitors product lines and market trends
thereby enabling effective negotiations with a variety of potential
partners. Execute strategic, effective and profitable contract
negotiations with these partners. Work in a fast-paced,
entrepreneurial environment at Comparion, with support from Agency
Distribution Solutions stakeholders and regional partnerships
leaders. Partner with the Comparion Advantage Program team to
implement partnerships within your assigned vertical. Prepare and
present executive presentations for internal stakeholders to ensure
alignment around pursuit and business terms for potential new
partners. Test and Learn. Quickly scale profitable relationships or
scrap unprofitable partnerships. Evangelize our agency's vision for
the future of insurance distribution & marketing by helping to
shape the way that millions of people buy insurance. Exhibit or
participate in aligned national B2B tradeshows, networking events
or conventions to become a Subject Matter Expert. Lead ongoing
partner account management efforts, with the goal to grow quality
leads to agents that increase premium sold. Qualifications Requires
a Bachelor's degree or equivalent training; MBA preferred. 10+
years of progressively more responsible sales, marketing or
relationship management experience in a complex environment. B2B
sales or business development experience required. Knowledge of the
company's services, products and marketing techniques, insurance
contracts, funding and rating preferred. Target industry expertise
and knowledge preferred. Requires highly effective oral and written
communication skills including presentation, persuasion,
relationship management, timing, tact and negotiating skills.
