direction of the Supervisor/Chief Operator/Process Monitor, monitor
the entire Blow Molding Materials System to include rail cars,
vacuum systems, resin silos and surge bins, blenders, grinders and
lump grinders. Supply all raw materials to and move finished goods
from assigned molding machines, observing correctness of lot
numbers and other identification numbers.-- Operate and monitor
material handling equipment, including forklift, pallet jacks,
hopper, grinder and vacuum system.-- Assist in mold setups and
related duties as assigned.--Responsibilities: Essential
DutiesSupply molding machines with materials. Follow work orders
and other documents for proper procedures.Perform routine scrap
grinding and disposal of rejected materials.Move plastic components
to and from Storage (Quarantine) areas.Using fork lift and/or
pallet jack, move materials on pallets. This includes all processed
materials, supplies, scrap and finished product. Provide packing
cartons to Inspectors/Packers.Maintain work areas in a clean and
orderly condition. Adhere to all safety and good housekeeping
regulations.Assist Plastic Processing Setup Technician in mold
setup/startup and other miscellaneous duties, as required.Clean
"flex clean" resin cleaning system in Resin Processing Room as well
as all resin vacuum filters.Set up rail car vacuum pump system,
pumping resin from rail cars into silo. Properly clean out rail car
when finished. Notify stores in writing when car is ready to be
returned to vendor.Keep track of pallets awaiting regrinding and
load bottles into grinder and shred busters.Monitor the material
blenders, keeping track of regrind to virgin mix ratios. This is
done by measuring samples on a scale and using a calculator to
determine needed data.Use various dimension measuring devices to
check dimensions of PIC bottles. Information is recorded on
appropriate charts. Dimensions, part number, machine number, lot
number, data graphs are completed. Variations are communicated to
the Setup Technician, Chief Operator or Supervisor to take
necessary action.Perform other duties specified by Supervisor/Chief
Operator.Expertise: Knowledge & Skills--Materials or ProductsCare
and attention necessary in handling and moving materials and in
checking material identification information.Ensure that
recoverable bottles are ground in a timely fashion.Tools and
EquipmentWhile monitoring system, ensure that all parts of system
are clean and functional and that they deliver a consistent blend
of resin to the machine. Ensure the proper resin line hookup in
order that all machines receive correct resin type.Care required
when operating material handling equipment.Safety of OthersCare and
attention necessary when operating material handling equipment
around others.Care and attention necessary when operating all
machinery, for example grinders, blenders and vacuum systems.--The

English.Ability to react quickly to malfunctions.Basic mechanical
