QA Supervisor - FlavoringsSalary: Up to $85k + bonusLocation/Schedule: Four 10s (8am - 6:30pm) Monday through Thursday in San Clemente, CARequirements: Associates degree (B.S. strongly preferred) + 3 years of QA experience + 1 year of supervisory experienceFounded twenty years ago in sunny San Clemente, we are an up and coming flavorings company.In addition to our existing portfolio of over 20,000 flavors, we work closely with our clients in our state of the art facility to develop custom flavorings unique to their needs.We're a family owned business that puts quality at the forefront of everything we do. From hiring to our state of the art equipment and the products we produce, quality is what matters most!Due to growth, we have opened up a brand new position and are seeking a QA Supervisor with experience in the flavorings industry to lead a team of 6 techs. • Oversee daily QA Operations, guiding and verifying work
• Lead training and development of QA staff including performance management
• Update HACCP, SOP and QA programs, ensuring BRC compliance
• Prepare quality reports and verify flavors meet standards
• Communicate non-conforming products and assist in complaint investigations
• Perform GMP inspections and coordinate corrective actions
• Maintain compliance with quality management systems through record keeping
• Proactively look for ways to enhance the QA departmentWhat You Need for this Position3+ years of QA experience with 1 year of supervisory experience
  • AS degree in Quality, Microbiology, Food Science or similar (B.S. strongly preferred)
  • Experience mentoring and training employees
  • Knowledge of Food Safety programs and practices
