Our Mission!Are you passionate about community engagement and
public health? The SoCal Club is seeking a vibrant and dedicated
Outreach Specialist to lead the charge in connecting with Black and
Latino gay, bisexual, and queer men aged 12-29. Under the guidance
of our Director, you'll play a key role in implementing our dynamic
outreach strategy, fostering connections, and raising awareness
about essential health services. The outreach strategy will include
social media outreach, outreach activities at locations frequented
by members of the target population (such as bars, clubs, and other
venues), outreach at public events in the community as well as
community and street outreach and Geo-Social Networking, reaching
out to target population on web-based applications such as Grindr
Jack'd and Sniffies etc.What You'll Do:Be the Face of SoCal Club:
Represent our mission with confidence and a sex-positive
perspective on healthcare, making a lasting impression in the
community.Engage and Recruit: Use social media, community events,
and in-person outreach at popular venues to reach our target
audience and encourage program participation.Community
Collaboration: Partner with local organizations and attend events
to build relationships and identify resources that benefit our
community.Innovative Outreach: Utilize geo-social networking and
web-based applications like Grindr, Jack'd, and Sniffies to engage
with potential clients where they are most active.Track Impact:
Document and analyze recruitment activities to ensure our programs
meet community needs and strategic goals.What We're Looking
For:Outgoing Personality: You're a natural communicator who thrives
on engaging with diverse community members both in person and
online.Experience Matters: A background in client services or
outreach, especially within non-profit settings, is essential (2
years preferred).Organizational Skills: Strong written and verbal
communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Bilingual
Bonus: Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to
