Job Description:
A company is looking for a Commercial Litigation Counsel to
manage and mitigate legal risks related to purchasing,
manufacturing, and transportation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Research and analyze potential contract claims and defenses related
to goods and services purchases
Collaborate with internal departments to understand contractual
relationships and provide legal guidance
Manage general litigation claims by collaborating with outside
counsel and developing risk mitigation strategies
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial litigation and
contract negotiation
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Membership in good standing with the relevant State Bar
Association
Experience with purchasing departments or disputes related to goods
and services is highly desirable
