• Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware and servers: test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve all problems
• Provide technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems
• Apply hardening security settings
• Active Directory Object Management (ie. User, computer, groups)
• Manage NTFS and share permissions
• Identify, analyze and remediate technical challenges
• Administer backups and diagnose backup errors
• Partner with application/project/security teams and vendors to plan, design, and implement new IT infrastructure
• Maintains technical and detailed design documentation Qualifications You Must Have: -
  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • 2+ year experience in support of Microsoft Windows desktops (e.g. Windows 7, Windows10, and Windows 11)
  • Experience deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data Qualifications We Prefer:
    • Active Top Secret security clearance
    • Bitlocker support
    • Windows command line and related utilities
    • Experience with cloning techniques
    • Experience with operating system concepts and implementations
    • Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy)
    • Experience with network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc)
    • Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware
    • Experience with an IT incident/service request system
    • VMWare VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc)
    • Automation vis scripting
    • Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: MDT/MECM and WSUS
    • Experience with engineering applications such as MatLab, Green Hills products, Doors, and Subversion

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
