About This OpportunityAret-- is seeking a talented Senior Scientist to join our team in Northridge, CA. As a key member of our Radar and SAR Exploitation team, you will be responsible for conducting research and developing activities focused on passive and active RF sensor technology exploitation.Key Responsibilities

• Develop novel solutions, significant enhancements, and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms for challenging mission applications
• Research, design, and implement advanced signal processing and RF system concepts that yield new capabilities addressing urgent customer needs
• Implement prototype solutions in software, utilizing the latest data exploitation techniques (including machine learning techniques)
• Develop simulations and performance models that enable trade studies for radar systems
• Technically support radar initiatives in multiple Business Areas across the company
• Interface with and brief technical solutions to customers and large peer groupsRequirements
  • PhD degree program in physics, mathematics, or a related field, or BS/MS with several years of relevant experience
  • Radar systems development experience including signal and image processing, detection/estimation theory, algorithm development, software development, data analysis, and modeling and simulation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate on small teams
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearanceAret-- offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $165,000, depending on experience.
