Web Manager, Bratz.com, you will be responsible for managing and
improving both the front-end and back-end of the digital hub for
all things Bratz, including the DTC Shopify store. Bratz is a
growing brand with a large focus on digital engagement, and as the
web manager for Bratz.com, you will work closely with brand and
product design, and customer service teams to ensure the site is
optimized for sales, user experience, and overall performance. This
role requires both technical proficiency and an eye for design,
with a focus on improving conversion rates, maintaining an
intuitive user experience, and driving growth of DTC sales.Key
Responsibilities:Front-End Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall design and layout of the Shopify store,
ensuring it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and
mobile-optimized.
- Collaborate closely with the larger marketing team to implement
seasonal or promotional changes to the website.
- Work closely with brand and product design teams to bring to
life larger global brand campaigns, ensuring that Bratz.com remains
a destination for all things Bratz.
- Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the
customer journey, increase conversation, and increase
conversion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any front-end bugs or issues related
to theme customization.
- Ensure product pages are accurate, complete, and optimized for
SEO (images, descriptions, pricing, etc.).
- Work with the content team to upload new products, banners, and
promotional content to the site.
- Maintain an organized product catalog, including categories,
variants, and tags.
- Regularly assess website speed and performance, making
improvements where necessary to enhance the user experience.
- A/B test assets continuously by optimizing layouts, imagery,
and CTAs to improve conversion rates.
- Work to present new initiatives that would drive increased site
traffic and enhance the experience on Bratz.com, taking into
account competitive insights.
- Launch new brand opportunities that would utilize Bratz.com as
a platform for DTC growth.Back-End Responsibilities:
- Manage the backend of the Shopify store, including product
listings, inventory, pricing, and order fulfillment.
- Configure and maintain integrations with third-party apps,
payment gateways, and shipping providers.
- Set up and manage sales campaigns, discounts, and promotions
within Shopify.
- Monitor incoming orders and ensure accurate processing,
including managing customer data and shipping information.
- Troubleshoot order issues and coordinate with the logistics
team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Use Shopify analytics tools and Google Analytics to track
website performance, user behavior, sales data, and other key
metrics.
- Generate reports on product performance, customer trends, and
sales performance to help inform marketing and business
decisions.Security & Updates:
- Ensure the store is secure, including managing updates to the
Shopify platform, apps, and themes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify features, trends, and
best practices to improve store functionality.Collaboration,
Strategy, and Planning:
- Work closely with the larger global marketing team to develop
promotional campaigns and seasonal sales strategies.
- Coordinate with the customer support team to address customer
queries or issues related to orders or website functionality.
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure new products are
added and showcased effectively on the website.
- Work closely with the larger marketing and design teams in
order to plan 6, 12, and 18 months out, prioritizing new projects,
launches, and key brand initiatives.
- Work to provide yearly budget estimates and work within budget
allocation for yearly planning.Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing or developing eCommerce stores,
ideally with a focus on Shopify.
- Strong understanding of Shopify's platform, features, and best
practices.
- Familiarity with back-end operations, including inventory
management, order processing, and integrations with third-party
applications.
- Proficiency in Shopify's admin panel, Liquid, and other tools
commonly used in eCommerce.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for eCommerce websites.
- Ability to analyze website data and make data-driven
decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively with various teams.Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Shopify Plus, advanced Shopify apps, or custom
Shopify development.
- Experience in digital marketing (email marketing, social media
campaigns, etc.) and how it integrates with the eCommerce
store.
- Graphic design skills and familiarity with tools like Adobe
Photoshop or Canva for basic design adjustments.
