Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior ADABAS Database Administrator
to perform database administration and support for Software AG
ADABAS environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mainframe database software upgrades, administration, and
tuning
Manage day-to-day database maintenance, including backups,
restores, and monitoring
Provide 24/7 on-call support and maintain documentation for
completed tasks
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
8+ years of experience in Software AG ADABAS/Natural administration
and systems programming
Extensive knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and
disaster recovery procedures
Experience with ADABAS utilities and managing vendor relations
Ability to work in a large, 24/7 multi-database environment
