years.WHY WE'RE HEREWe are looking for a Software Test Engineer to
join our Space team.As a Test Mission Software Engineer for our
Space team, you will be responsible for integrating and testing the
various ground and orbital software applications into software in
the loop (SITL), hardware in the loop and various FlatSat test
environments. You will become familiar with Anduril's ground
software enterprise and orbital flight software system and provide
necessary test infrastructure to manage configuration, telemetry
and ensure seamless data flow. The Test Software team will work
closely with related teams, such as the spacecraft design, GNC,
satellite mission operations, ground, and flight software, etc., to
help improve both the ground and satellite-based capabilities and
be responsible for ensuring appropriate DevSecOps across the
Anduril space team's suite of software development.This role is
tied to ongoing, funded programs within Anduril's Space Business
Line. The programs require building and fielding a resilient,
software-defined ground and satellite systems across numerous
mission threads. We work with mission partners and customers to
deploy reliable and robust capabilities on operationally-relevant
fielding timelines to meet complex challenges across the DOD and
IC.WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the development and implementation of software test tools
to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Conduct software test and validation across numerous test beds
to include digital simulation, software in the loop, hardware in
the loop, FlatSat and full ground and orbital systems.
- Integrate with legacy systems to unlock 21st-century
capabilities.
- Collaborate across multiple teams to plan, build, and test
complex functionality.
- Ensure appropriate DevSecOps for Anduril Space software
development in coordination with mission assurance teams.
- Ensure established CI/CD pipelines to foster collaborative
software development and test.
- Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and
monitoring.
- Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate
next-steps.
- Coordinate with end-users, other operators and customers to
turn needs into features while balancing user experience with
engineering constraints.
- Support challenging schedules during ground testing, launch
windows and on-orbit operations of the spacecraft systems.REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally
in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or
other engineering degree.
- Experience conducting software testing for high reliability and
uptime systems requirements.
- Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and
detailed requirements.
- Capable of solving complex technical problems with little
oversight.
- Clear communication and organizational skills including
documentation and training material.
- Must be eligible to obtain and hold a US DoD security clearance
(Secret, Top Secret, TS with SCI).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Python, Go, Rust, C++, Matlab and/or Linux
systems.
- A desire to work on critical software in the space domain.
- Experience with testing/validation leveraging FlatSats,
Hardware-in-the-Loop testbeds.
- Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, web services
and/or embedded software systems.BENEFITS

$180,000 USD.The salary range for this role is an estimate based on
a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary
only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to)
work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or
business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are
included in the majority of full-time offers; and are considered
