Job Description:
A company is looking for a Geospatial Software Engineer to
design and support cloud and open-source systems for processing
geospatial data.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and support cloud systems to process geospatial data
via an API-based platform
Collaborate with internal development teams to integrate necessary
data sets
Develop highly scalable APIs and manage the software life cycle
from concept to production
Required Qualifications
BSc degree in Computer Science or relevant job experience with 7+
years overall experience
Minimum of 2 years experience with Python, Java, Go, or similar
programming languages
Experience developing HTTP APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) in a cloud
environment
Proficiency in building and maintaining modern cloud architecture
(e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
Experience with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Docker in a CI/CD
environment
