Systems Administrator role is accountable for maintaining the
technology infrastructure and supporting XPRIZE users for their day
to day. This role is accountable for overall IT efforts within the
company.The Systems Administrator reports to the VP, Technology,
and is a key member of the Information Technology
team.ResponsibilitiesMore than 70% of your time will be spent
managing the XPRIZE IT Systems and Cloud SaaS applications. Other
responsibilities for this position include but may not be limited
to:
- Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with
computer systems
- Introducing and integrating new technologies
- Performing routine audits of systems and software
- Performing backups and restoring of data
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration
changes
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software
- Creating training materials and conduct security awareness
trainings for end users
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information,
resetting passwords, etc
- Responsibility for security
- Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the
systems
- Answering technical queries and troubleshooting any reported
problemsWork assignments will be a combination of self-generated
projects reflecting the individual's strategic choices that are
aligned with their primary accountabilities and the teams overall
objectives, as well as assignments provided by the VP,
Technology.Qualifications
- 4+ years Systems Administration experience in a venture backed,
start-up (preferred)
- 3+ years administering Azure, Microsoft 365 and Google
Workspace is required
- 3+ years of experience working with Windows 11 is required
- 3+ years of experience of working with MAC OS client
- 2+ years of experience with centralized Endpoint Protection
Systems, Secure Web and Email Gateways
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft 365 and Google
Workspace applications is required
- 3+ years of experience working with Patching Systems and
Endpoint Management Systems (both MAC and PC)
- Must work well in team environments
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service
skills
- Bachelor degree with concentration in CIS is required
- Azure Certification is a Big PlusCompetencies required for this

- Drives Vision and PurposeThe anticipated base salary for this
position is $80,000 to $110,000 and may also qualify for an annual
incentive. This role is eligible for our extensive benefits package
and generous paid time off including vacation, sick, and holidays.
The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors
including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of
relevant experience for the role, level of education attained, and
certifications and/or other licenses held. XPRIZE is a remote-first
