Senior iOS Developer

Unique opportunity with an exciting new startup!

A well-funded startup in the West Hollywood area needs a senior iOS developer to join a high powered team!

This position will be responsible for developing advanced iOS applications. The candidate will need to participate in testing as well as product support and bug fixes.

The client would prefer candidates who can be on-site every day, but after a few weeks might consider up to two remote days a week. The hiring process will involve a mix of phone and in-person interviews with people involved directly with the project!

Responsibilities:

Work closely with other developers and the design/product team to develop world class user experiences for the iOS operating system.

Build and manage advanced applications for the iOS platform

Participate in unit testing and application performance

Participate in product support and bug fixes

Necessary Skills/Attributes:

A passion for building products people love to use.

Strong understanding of object oriented software principles, design patterns and agile (preferred) methodologies.

Motivated to build pleasing high performance user interface.

At least 2+ year of experience in IOS mobile development

Completion of one complex mobile application and participated in the full life cycle of the app at minimum.

In-depth understanding of mobile development best practices and the ability to communicate them to team members.

Demonstrated experience with iOS tools Cocoa Touch/Objective C and web architectures and services such as HTTP, REST, SOAP

Demonstrated experience with automated builds (Jenkins), version control systems and HIG

C/C++ experience a plus
