- Candidates should be an active member and in good standing of
the California bar or eligible to waive into the bar.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in labor and employment
law.
- Strong background in California employment litigation and
advice and counseling. Location: This position is based in our Los
Angeles office. Applicants should be based within driving distance
to our Los Angeles office or planning to relocate if applying to
this position. Position Information: This position is a Counsel or
Senior Counsel role. Both positions offer a vibrant and impactful

to Senior Counsel based on performance, contributions to the growth

including the firm's needs, the market dynamics within your area of
expertise, and broader economic conditions. This position is ideal

significant professional growth. Duties include, but are not
limited to:
- Performing legal research;
- Drafting motions, pleadings, and dispositive motions;
- Attending court appearances;
- Drafting and responding to discovery and meet and confer
letters;
- Defending individual and class action wage and hour and PAGA
claims both in court and in arbitration;
- Responding to government investigation and inquiries;
- Drafting and reviewing employment and severance agreements,
employment policies, and Employee Handbooks. Salary: The salary
range for this role is $275,000 - $295,000 based and evaluated on

Senior Associates, Associates, and Sr. Counsel are expected in the
office at least two days a week, while Counsel, Staff Counsel, and
Patent Agents are expected one day a week.
- Vacation Incentive: The firm will offer a $2,500 vacation award
to all non-partner lawyers who record 600 client billable hours or
more in a consecutive three-month period within a calendar
year.

and support personal contacts, the firm reimburses business
development activities. Lawyers with 250+ business development
hours in a performance year will receive a firm-sponsored coaching
session.
