Medical Device AssemblerJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis.As an Assembler, you will use a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions, and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble and test medical devices.This role requires flexibility with working hours, including the possibility of starting an hour before the shift time and working on Saturdays when needed.Pay:Assembler I: $19.50 (1 year of manufacturing w/microscope)Assembler II: $20.00-$21.00 (2 years of medical device assembly experience with microscope)Shift: 1st- 5:45am-2:15pmOvertime as needed before shift and Saturdays.The Assembler I under direct supervision uses a variety of tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble/test medical devices.Important/Must haves:-Microscope experience-Small part assembly-Strong communication skillsResponsibilities:Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Project Engineer/ Supervisor.Provide hands on job function training to coworkers as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. 6.
