Standard shift: Days
Weekly schedule: 5x8
Schedule Notes: Monday-Friday 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM -
Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing nuclear
imaging procedures, preparing and administering
radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating
with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate
diagnoses.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to
detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. -
Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures.

Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation. -
Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality
control.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent:
Preferred
Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Licensing/Certification:
State Nuclear Medicine License: Required in CA
Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist
(ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine OR Certified by the Nuclear Medicine
Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine
Technologist: Required in CA
Venipuncture certification: Required in CA -
State Nuclear Med Tech (SNMT): Required
Facility Specific License/Certifications:
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or National
Nuclear Med Tech (NMTCB): Required
Venipuncture (IV) certification: Required
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine
Technologist
