Hollywood.Position Summary: The clinical supervisor is responsible
for overseeing and managing the clinical operations within the
unit. Their primary role is to provide leadership and guidance to
the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence
to hospital policies and procedures. This includes assessing staff
performance, providing feedback, and addressing any issues or
concernsDuties and Responsibilities: Supervising and coordinating
the activities of the nursing staff, including assigning patient
care duties, evaluating performance, and providing feedback.
Monitoring and ensuring the delivery of safe and effective patient
care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, such as
physicians and nurse managers, to develop and implement patient
care plans. Conducting regular rounds and assessments of patients
to assess their condition and ensure appropriate interventions are
implemented. Providing education and training to nursing staff on

Participating in quality improvement initiatives and promoting
evidence[1]based practices within the unit. Managing and resolving
conflicts or issues that arise among the nursing staff. Ensuring
compliance with regulatory guidelines and standards related to
patient care and safety. Participating in the recruitment,
orientation, and onboarding of new nursing staff. Keeping abreast
of advancements in telemetry nursing and incorporating them into
practice Providing guidance and support: Responsible for providing
guidance and support to supervisees, or other healthcare
professionals. Always be available to answer questions, provide
feedback, and offer guidance on clinical cases and professional
development. Monitoring and evaluating performance: Responsible for
monitoring and evaluating the performance of supervisees. This
includes reviewing clinical work, assessing competencies, and
providing constructive feedback to help supervisees improve their
skills and knowledge. Ensuring ethical and legal compliance: Play a
crucial role in ensuring that supervisees adhere to ethical and
legal guidelines in their practice. Always providing guidance on
ethical decision-making, confidentiality, and legal requirements,
and address any ethical dilemmas that arise. Facilitating
professional development: Responsible for facilitating the
professional development of supervisees. This includes identifying
learning opportunities, recommending training or workshops, and
assisting supervisees in setting goals for their personal and
professional growth. Promoting self-care and well-being: Prioritize
the well-being and self[1]care of supervisees. Encouraging
supervisees to engage in self-care practices, manage stress, and
maintain a healthy work-life balance. Always vigilant for signs of
burnout or compassion fatigue and provide support as needed.
Documenting and maintaining records: Responsible for documenting
and maintaining accurate records of supervision sessions, including
progress notes, supervision agreements, and evaluations. These
records are important for accountability, quality assurance, and

Collaborate with other professionals, such as supervisors from
different disciplines, to ensure an interdisciplinary approach to
supervision and to promote the overall quality of care provided by
supervisees.Minimum EducationGraduate from an Accredited RN
training programBachelor of Science in Nursing requiredHigh School
Diploma or General Education Development (GED) requiredPreferred
EducationMasters Degree in nursing or related field
preferredMinimum Work Experience and QualificationsBasic
Qualifications: Minimum five (5) years of experience managing a
multi-disciplinary staff of professionals, technical and non-exempt
employees.Additional Requirements:Demonstrated leadership and an
ability to influence and motivate others.Demonstrated success in
operations improvement efforts, cost management initiatives, and
hospital and health system development and management.Thorough
understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly related to
physician relationships as well as nurse and ancillary care
givers.Experience in managing multiple aspects of health care
delivery.Thorough knowledge of legal, regulatory, ethical,
managerial, organizational requirements, principles and standards
of care for hospitals and healthcare systems. Experience assessing
programs, evaluating organizational needs, designing process
changes, and successfully implementing changes to process flow and
patient care.Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of
hospital administration.Extensive experience working with
physicians and other clinicians; must have examples of successful
collaborative efforts.Must be able to work in a union
