Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.Job Requirements:Education and Work Experience:* Master's Degree: Required* Two years' speech language pathology experience: PreferredLicenses/Certifications:* Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required* American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred* Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): Required* Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:* Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): RequiredEssential Functions:* Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.* Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.* Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.* Instructs and directs support staff, as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.* Supervises assistants and support staff.* Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Organizational Requirements:Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
