An exciting and fulfilling opportunity to join an internationally recognized acute care hospital in Southern California as the Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery has become immediately available.
Reporting to the Director of Women's Services, the Nurse Manager of Maternity Services will have oversight of a top-notch nursing staff and the support of nearly 110 FTEs that run 10 Labor & Delivery Rooms, 30 Postpartum Suites,5 triage, 2 operating rooms and 4 PACU beds. Providing the highest level of prenatal care, an experienced team of experts, along with a highly-trained support staff, specialize in High Risk and Complex Pregnancies. The Family Birth Center is one of the busiest in the area, and sees over 240 deliveries per month.
The Clinical Nurse Manager of Women's and Children's Services is accountable for the efficient delivery of patient care and high quality nursing practices in compliance with administrative, legal and regulatory requirements of governmental and regulatory agencies. As the Nurse Manager Family Birth Center, you will be in charge of hiring and training staff, and maintaining those quality standards. The Nurse Manager of Labor and Delivery is responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations inside the L&D unit.
Providing a broad range of advanced medical services and constantly striving to meet the growing healthcare needs of the community, this 300+ bed acute care medical facility's offerings include Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Diagnostic Imaging services as well as an extremely busy Emergency Department.
