The work will be challenging, but always rewarding.It's Work That Matters.OverviewPurpose Statement/Position Summary: The Staff Scientist is responsible for identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies found in big data sets by performing extensive data analysis. Manages the design and implementation of big data solutions for CHLA. Document research findings and participate in the writing of manuscripts and grant applications.Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1 year of post-graduate relevant research.Education/Licensure/Certification: Ph.D. 1 year of post-doctoral fellowship training required. Knowledge and advanced research skills in data analysis, publications, and research design.Pay Scale InformationUSD $66,560.00 - $116,563.20CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
