Job Description:
OverviewResponsible for the performance development of
employees. Collaborates with patient care/professional and support
service departments to identify performance gaps, determine the
causes and measures the impact of learning and non learning actions
that are required to change performance. Learners can include
employees, patients/families, community and the medical staff.
Takes a leadership role in planning, designing, coordinating,
conducting and evaluating educational/competency validation
programs for the unit/hospital which includes orientation, employee
performance development, new policy/procedure development, new
technology implementation, regulatory/accreditation requirements,
etc.This position requires the full understanding and active
participation in fulfilling the mission of Anaheim Regional Medical
Center. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior
consistent with the core values of AHMC and ARMC. The employee
shall support Anaheim Regional Medical Center's strategic plan and
goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The
employee will also be expected to support all organizational
expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service,
Patient's Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of
Care and AHMC
initiatives.QualificationsEducation/Training/Experience
QualificationsGraduate of an RN School of NursingMinimum 5 years
recent experience as a practitioner of nursing in acute careOne
year education experienceBSN required or current enrollment in BSN
programMSN preferredLicenses/CertificationsCurrent CA RN
licenseCurrent BLS-HCPBLS Instructor within 6 monthsACLS Instructor
within 6 monthsPALS instructor within 6 months
