Job Description:

Based in Los Angeles County, San Fernando Bakersfield, Orange County and Inland Empire to work from home.

Responsible for assessment and coordination of medical care for Workers' Compensation claimants. Works closely with injured worker, Claims Adjusters, employers, and medical providers to ensure best possible medical care is received for the Worker Compensation injury to medically rehabilitate for Return to Work. Will handle telephonic and field referrals.

Essential Job Duties:

Responsible for assessment and coordination of medical care related to Workers compensation injuries. Works closely with adjusters, medical providers, employers, and attorneys to ensure coordination of appropriate care to medically rehabilitate individuals injured on the job and assist with return to work goals. Makes recommendations regarding health care resources. Develops case management plan through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient' s progress. Evaluates patient's treatment plan for appropriateness and devises cost effective strategies for medical care. Attends physician/ hospital appointments. Reliable transportation and local travel required.

Requirements:

Registered nurse with current California license. WORKERS COMPENSATION OR CASE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Strong technology, organizational and documentation skills a must.
