of Partnership Marketing for Angel City FC will be responsible for
overseeing the implementation and execution of all partnership
agreements as well as the Partnership Marketing team to carry out
all partner activations. This role requires creating value for
corporate sponsors by ensuring the successful activation of
sponsorships through various platforms, including in-stadium
experiences, digital and social media, branding, and community
engagement initiatives as well as developing deep, meaningful
relationships.The Director/Senior Director will work closely with
ACFC's internal teams, corporate sponsors, and external
stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of partnership
activations, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen long-term
relationships.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest level of service to all existing corporate
partners.
- Gather, plan and execute all contractual elements for each
corporate partner.
- Deliver ongoing creative marketing and implementation
recommendations for current partners including retail activations,
in-stadium promotions, special events, and community outreach ideas
with a deep understanding of brand marketing needs.
- Work extremely closely with the VP Community & Impact to
execute on our innovative 10% Sponsorship Model where 10% of each
partnership goes to a community program.
- Manage the partnership activation budget, ensuring that all
activations are delivered within agreed financial parameters. Track
the performance of sponsorship activations, providing regular
reports to sponsors and senior management that highlight engagement
metrics and overall impact.
- Create organizational systems aimed at optimizing all execution
programs.
- Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients at all
levels of their organization. Learn and understand the nuances of
the business of each of the organization's corporate partners and
help them achieve their marketing goals through the use of Angel
City FC.
- Aid in the development of creative activation upsell
opportunities.
- Produce and present partner recaps and leads for the entire
Partnership Marketing team.
- Work game days, weekends, and special events to entertain
existing partners and new business prospects.
- Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Partnership Sales
on incoming new partnerships and lead onboarding of newly closed
corporate partners.
- Develop, teach, and lead a team of account managers.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.Qualifications:
- Passion for women's soccer and a commitment to growing the
sport.
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Marketing, Business, or
a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship
activation, or high-level cross-functional marketing, preferably
within the sports or entertainment industries.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale sponsorships and
activations.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, fan engagement, and
the ecosystem of sports partnerships.
- Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing
multiple personnel, projects, and timelines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong hunger to actively spend facetime with clients and
impart that to the Partnership Marketing Team.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication, and
relationship management skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment.
- Ability to work long and irregular hours as well as on
weekends.
- Ability to travel to clients or client-related events as
needed.Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with digital marketing and social media
platforms for sponsorship integration.
- Familiarity with community engagement and CSR initiatives.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative activation
strategies.
- Understanding of data analytics and reporting tools to measure
sponsorship success.CompensationIn addition to the benefits above,
this role pays between $120,000 and $130,000 annually + is
