PINS Director is responsible for production, delivery, and quality
of highly engineered aerospace fasteners, utilizing machining,
forging, thermal treatment, and coating operations. In addition to
these responsibilities, the Director will also be responsible for
safety, environmental results, efficiencies, and effectiveness of
the assigned production unit and/or groups. The individual will act
as a senior management representative in the assigned production
units and ensures that company policies and guidelines are
accurately interpreted and implemented. Develops and implements
optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in
accordance with product specifications and quality standards.
Minimize process variation and maximizes efficiency of both
existing and new product manufacturing process.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with rules and regulations set forth by
Federal, Local and State government, and LISI Aerospace
policies.
- Responsible for profit and loss results as established for the
assigned production units by the organization's budget or forecast
process.
- Achieve and sustain agreed health and safety goals using
effective management techniques.
- Manufacturing and planning of best in class products in the
assigned factory, utilizing world class techniques.
- Ensure customer service levels are met and that
delivery/quality Key Production Indicators (KPI) are tracked and
communicated.
- Responsible for staff development, assessments, and ensuring
new team members receive necessary training.
- Establish goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for
assigned production units.
- Work with inter-departmental staff to resolve issues related to
machinery, product quality, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve deficiencies
using problem-solving techniques.
- Plan and develop capital equipment forecasts to achieve safety
improvements and increased productivity.
- Manage professional and non-professional staff to achieve their
goals.
- Prioritize and manage resources to achieve project
results.
- Ensure quality management system is adhered to and improved as
part of continuous improvement efforts.
- Organize and maintain high standards of performance, quality,
and customer service.
- Implement company policies and guidelines as prescribed by
management.
- Support, lead, and adhere to business accreditations such as
AS9100, ISO14001, and others.
- Ensure employees attend all training provided and adhere to all
HSE procedures.
- Ensure employees are aware of their requirement to report

production units.ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND
ABILITIESEducation and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering background preferred) from a
four-year college or university; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the Aerospace
Industry or Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years related experience required or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
- Customer interface/interaction experience related to
understanding customer specifications required.Language
SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals
and technical procedures; must be able to write accurate reports
and business correspondence.Mathematical SkillsAbility to work with
complex mathematical concepts and fundamentals of geometry and
